I was just 6 when I started training in Martial arts. Back then I was totally inspired by my brother who had received a black belt in Goju-Ryu. It was since then that I realized that Martial Arts had become a way of life for me. As time went by, I was so involved in my passion for the same that it shaped into my profession.
Martial arts are practiced for a variety of different reasons including self-defense, physical fitness, entertainment and competition. Some even consider martial arts as a way of achieving spiritual growth. Hence all the time I put into training helped me succeed in almost everything I did and that particularly involved physical and mental fitness.
When we talk about Martial art training, I must tell you it is the only kind of training that covers all aspects of being fit as well as a successful athlete. Its starts right from endurance to speed, the power of being flexible to working on your body balance, it works on your speedy reaction, good reflexes and ultimate concentration, thus making martial arts training a complete package.
I always had a thirst for knowledge and the interest to explore various types of combat sports. My journey started right from Karate and then moved to boxing that eventually led to kickboxing, Judo, Muay Thai and finally MMA.

During my school days, I used to participate in every sport and always managed to stand out from the rest. As I recall on one occasion during my college annual sports meet, I was challenged to participate in all the track and field events in order to increase the points of my house. To everyone’s surprise, I won medals in every event I participated. The events of sport involved almost everything, 3000 meters to 1500 meters, 800 meters, 400 meters, 200 meters and 100 meters, long jump, high jump, javelin throw and discuss throw. That day, I won a total of ten medals for my house out of which five were gold. All this was nothing but an eye opener for me. It made me realize how important combat fitness could actually be.
Post my graduation, I was forced to take up a 9 to 5 job due to the financial circumstances that prevailed back home. I worked hard but was never content with my job; I felt I was really missing something. One day, Mr. Sanjay Shetty, an established ad filmmaker and also a martial art expert who had trained in KravMaga, happened to see one of my training videos and reached out to me. He seemed to be pretty impressed and provided me with a few clients who were interested in training for fitness. It was from that very day that things changed. Slowly and gradually I began my journey with a whole new opportunity that lay before me of being a combat fitness trainer. I built my focus and started studying fitness in depth. I worked hard to analyze the different aspects of combat training and also everything else that was required to be fit and healthy. All my experience put together in martial arts and different sports, helped me incorporate unique workouts that changed the whole idea of a standard daily work out. For me, the everyday work out was something that had to be way different from a normal work out routine. This in turn ensured that there was no scope for boredom and people started enjoying their workout sessions.Gradually the word about us began to spread like wild fire and I was approached by a corporate giant to conduct training sessions for their employees. Post the exposure received from the training at this corporate, Total Combat Fitness came into existence. That was in the year 2007. Since then, we have been training students, working professionals, Doctors, lawyers, ad film makers, actors including big celebrities from Bollywood, athletes and also various corporates who belonged to Multinational companies.
Today, I am proud to declare we are a family that is being associated with TCF since the time of our existence. We have produced more than 20 national and international champions. Our team appears to be one of the best in almost every competition that we have participated so far. My work has been appreciated and published everywhere by different media such as leading newspapers and news channels. Currently I am appointed as the National Coach for Muay Thai at the Muay Thai India National Federation. I feel honored to be the first Indian male fighter to sign a contract with One Championship, which is Asia’s largest Mixed Martial Arts organization. Total Combat Fitness is also being appointed as a network partner for One Championship.
